OCR runs server-side with ocrs and hayro (MIT/Apache-2.0); the recognition models are by Robert Knight, licensed CC-BY-SA-4.0. Large photos and PDFs can take a few seconds.

Private by design: Files are uploaded to the server, converted in per-request memory (never shared temp files), and the result is streamed straight back to you. Everything is dropped the moment the request finishes - so nothing is ever written to disk or stored. No login or account is required.
